    Official MLB 2013 thread

I'm just going to say it now, Angels!!

Thankfully the Yankees picked up our crap (Vernon Wells) and our roster is stacked.

Can't wait for the season to start. Plus I just love attending baseball games.

I wish I could say with a straight face that the Pirates could have a shot this year. If they make it past 0.500 again that will be an accomplishment. When I was just a kid, they would do well every year and at least be competitive. Not any more. They are a joke. The owners don't give a $#@! about anything except money from ticket and concession sales. They have all these concerts post-game and fireworks because they can't fill seats otherwise. Luckily I am an outdoor enthusiast so I will be busy camping and cooking on open fires this summer, not washing my time watching the laughingstock of MLB.

    FINALLY!!!!

And yes, as a Yankee fan I'm pissed we picked up Vernon Wells, but our team is falling the $#@! apart -- Jeter iffy, ARod'd not on roids, Granderson broken wrist, Tex admitted he's overpaid. Cano's performance will make or break the team.

If the fans just stopped going until they actually tried to be competitive...

Could be worse, could be an Astros fan. Saw some article yesterday that ARod will be making more than the whole Astros MLB roster

Hahaha you're father-in-law's got good taste man -- Quality cars & a Yanks fan. And it's all good, that's why there's 162 games in a baseball season & not 16 like the NFL. Ironically I met Ryan Howard a few months ago, really cool guy & I got his autograph.

    Just cannot stand Papelbon

That's awesome, believe it or not, my father in law does a lot of business with the yanks, last year he invited me to a game and we sat in the owners box, I met Hal and his wife, ate awesome food, and met Mariano Rivera / got his autograph. Even though Im not a Yankee fan, it was a awesome experience and the memorabilia in that owners suite was unreal! I have phone pics with Moe to prove it! Hah

The Yanks are terrible and I hope they are in this rut for years to come. They have so many pieces getting old... so nice to see.

Angels are off to a horrible start. Hate to say it, manager needs to go.

Scioscia is far from the problem. Josh Hamilton is hitting under .200, Mike Trout is about to join him & CJ Wilson's ERA is above 5. If nobody performs on the team, how can you fire the manager inside the 1st month of the season??

The Yankees turned a triple play though Click here to enlarge

Because he is ultimately responsible and isn't getting them going or motivating them properly. They need urgency not complacency like last year. Soscia has the most talent and the owner is spending money like crazy. Hell, even the wine list at the stadium is sick.

He needs to go, they need a shakeup. After missing the playoffs last year and this slow start it's enough.
