    Shell URT Advanced

I have received many emails asking about the fuel. Sorry for the blanket response but this is easier.

    First the good news
URT Advanced is an unleaded fuel which vastly outperforms C16. C16 was a great fuel 40 years ago but times have changed.

    Now the bad news
Shell is currently about one or possibly two months on back order for URT Advanced.

I have been earmarked for a large number of drums so if you want to be on the list to receive, let me know via PM. i don't have pricing for the new batch yet but it is comparable and in some cases, cheaper than 109. The more I can order, the cheaper it will be.

Possible cheaper than 109, but outperforms C16 AND it's unleaded!!! This sounds AWESOME & like an absolute steal. Wonder how it'll stack up to E98 and the FTW Oxygenated E85, regardless def gonna keep my eyes open for this $#@!.

Unlike other products, this is not an oxygenated fuel but rather a blend. It has a stoich point closer to pump gas so you get better results blending the fuel than you would with other race gas.

Ok, heard back from Shell and here is the scoop. There was a facilities issue last years so Shell stopped producing.

The facilities issue has been resolved and production will be starting up again shortly. Because of the fact everyone is on back order, I expect supply to be limited for the next month or so but then the supply issue should resolve itself.

I have pre-ordered 10 drums and should be able to get another 5 drums if needed.

I believe this is what he does for a living. He said this on another board or on another post I think. It stuck in my head because I'm seriously considering having a drum at home Click here to enlarge

Not what I do for a living...just a distributor and helping some guys out. I have taken up mini-golf and am working on getting that elusive hole in one through the clowns nose.

Luke - I guess I hit it off with the right person. The sealed drum has a shelf life of 2 years so it made sense to get a bunch. I am not looking to make a profit other than to cover my out of pocket costs. I will likely have drums coming to the west coast as well as Florida so if you want any, send me a PM.
