    Unhappy FS: 2004 E46 M3 - Salvage Title

    Well,

Unfortunately I've been a victim of idiot driving and I’m completely heart broken. A couple weeks ago I was forced into a guardrail on the highway by a road raged SUV, who then ran from the scene. As a result I am now testing to waters on selling my salvaged M3, which I will purchase from the insurance company either to sell the car as is or part it out. A thread is floating around here somewhere. I recently installed a HPF Stage 2 kit on my car. Had the kit on for about a month, but drove the car about 2 weeks (I was traveling in Japan). I will NOT be selling the HPF kit that is pictured. I will soon have my car sent down to HPF to have the kit taken off the car to swap on my new M3. I have RETAINED ALL STOCK PARTS.

With that being said, I’ve taken meticulous care of the car. The engine is solid and the transmission was replaced by BMW for being defection at 60k, so there is 35K miles on the current transmission.

    Here are the details:

    Seattle, WA
    2004 BMW E46 M3 – 95,100 miles
    6 Speed Manual
    Jet Black / Black Interior
    Premium Package
    Cold Weather Package
    Bi-Xenon Headlights
    Headlight Washers
    Heated Seats
    Power Seats w/Memory
    Parking Sensors
OZ Botticelli rims 19x8 front / 19x9 rear (Might Keep and replace with OEM wheels)
    Toyo Proxes T1 Sport (1 Day old) 245/35 front | 285/30 rear
    HR Springs
Subframe Reinforcements (Subframe was in excellent condition prior to install)

Look at the attacked pictures for the damage.

Man I'm so sorry. It doesn't look too too bad though.

That turbo kit will sell easy.

The damage isn't TOOOO significant, def something that can be repaired by a top notch shop. OP -- best of luck finding a new E46 M3 to your liking, really blows that the car was hit & the jack ass split from the scene

I need to do some more market research but I'm looking for $11,000 OBO. Feel free to chime in if I am way off here.

Yeah its BS. The shop was an outstanding shop. I knew they could do the work. The parts I guess just cost too much. It saddens me because this car should not be totaled.

If a potential buyer was serious about buying they would offer what they think is a reasonable offer. Hence, OBO. I guess a small detail like that can be overlooked it seems. Or maybe the definition of the acronym is not clearly understood or defined. I guess I could refine my description of the vehicle if there is more confusion.
