    Finally broke 12 seconds, but...

    I don't feel it counts because I don't have an actual time slip. The printer was printing blank paper. I ended up going to the tower and taking down my numbers. I'm sure a lot of others were not pleased. We had about 50 cars running and the printer was down for at least 20-30 minutes. It's also still printing the date one day ahead of actual.

    Either way here are the numbers from the tower spreadsheet and a video I got of the run.

    1/4 tank 93 oct, street tires at 26 psi

    Temp was 45 degrees and DA was -317. It was really hard to get traction. My times ranged from 11.913 to 13.292. There was an S65 running 13's too because he couldn't get traction at all.

    Here was another fun race against a WS6. He had a good launch. Mine not so good, but I took him at the 1/8 and kept pulling.

    I think I posted the wrong video against the Evo. There were two races in a row and I stopped at the tower after this race.

    The two were back to back and one was 12.042 and the other was 11.913.

    Here's the second race. The Evo did better this time than the last, but still couldn't get close.

    Congrats on the 11.9 run. Trap speed seems a little low. A header car in that DA should be trapping 122 or 123 in my opinion.

    If the tune is set up for race fuel than he should run some MS109. I believe the Eurocharged V4 tune is their most aggressive tune so race fuel might be worth a shot. I don't foresee a 3 or 4 mph gain from adding race fuel alone though.

    I had a 1/4 tank 93 octane. Their fuel station wasn't working so I couldn't fill up with race fuel.

    I still think there is something wrong with the car. It feels faster than before, but I have a feeling there is a leak somewhere. Speedriven hasn't called me back in weeks now. I know Marcin is busy, but c'mon I left multiple messages and not one response. Also, there is a loud rattling noise in the rear which makes me think the exhaust pipes need to get tightened again, but it makes me wonder if the headers weren't tightened properly.

    I'm trying to get a scheduled dyno run this Saturday at Performance Autowerks to see what the car is putting down. I'm going to make sure i get the afr reading too. The car used to really smell like burnt fuel all around, but after last applying the tune it only seems to smell from the rear exhaust. I also see some black on the exhaust I am not sure if that is due to me removing both cats or if there is something else going on.

    I'll say this much though. After re-applying the v4 tune, I saw a 4 mph increase over my last track day so I think it is safe to say the tune was not properly applied the first time.

    I just got my dyno run scheduled for Saturday morning so I'll finally be able to get a look at some numbers and share them.

    I was told the v4 tune I received was for 93 octane and header setup. I asked for the v3 tune a couple times, but have not received it. It would have been fun to see if there was any difference between the two tunes on my car when it came to AFR since it seems like I am running rich and I don't know if it's from the tune or not.

    I'd also be interested in seeing if there was any increase in HP or not. EC still hasn't done a press release on the v4 tune so nobody really knows what the changes were.

    I haven't asked for a race gas tune, but maybe next season I will.I doubt I will ever have race fuel only in the car and would most likely be a slight mixture of 93 + race fuel at any given time racing.

    If you hear rattling you may have an exhaust leak. Have them check all the clamps and make sure the header bolts are tight. I've heard stories of them loosening a few weeks after install. Black residue on the tailpipes is common once the cats are removed.

    Make sure you beat on the car on the way to the dyno. Can't wait to see what it puts down.

    When you go to this dyno, see what other cars, ideally C63, have put down so you can compare....since I believe you didn't have a baseline stock.

    You're correct. I'll take down the type of dyno and also try to do some runs with and without the tune. I'm not sure how many they'll let me do.

    I'm also going to ask if they can do anything to see if there might be a leak depending on what numbers I put down. I've got a similar setup as another member who was putting down somewhere close to 470-480 rwhp so if I see something considerably lower I know I need to investigate further.

    I hope you get it sorted. I know how frustrating it can be to have a car not performing as it should. Is it fuel, the tune, adaptations, tires, environment, etc. etc.....Based on your times/trap speed, you're probably in the 420-440 whp range. If you told me you didn't have LT headers, well then I would say you have a great car!

    What is it with these guys not getting back to people ?? In this day and age communication is all too easy. Are you telling me these guys don't have 10 seconds to send a quick text ?
