I knew this motor had a lot left. This is the "Bi-turbo" V12, right?

Yep, no one has even scratched the surface of what these motors can really do.

You give these things turbos similar in size to what the porsche guys are running.... and you can alter the rotation of the earth.

You could run twin gt35r's on this, easy..... That's 600hp flow per turbo: Click here to enlarge

Or even better, a pair of the new GTX4294R's : Click here to enlarge

    That would be 1500+whp.........

Found a new never titled SL65BS for $220 last week. MSRP was WAY too high for this car.

Check that it was $208 for a brand new car. That was dealer to dealer price but I would've paid $209 for it so still $11k under what I originally thought.

Agreed that's a great deal, hopefully in a year low mileage cars will be under $150k. Then the decision becomes slightly used SL65 BS v slightly used SLS.

If they get into that price range I'll have to figure out how to scrape together my change. I'm the kind of guy who would prefer th SL65 BS to the SLS.

SL65 all the way. I have driven a few and the punch out the gate is absolutley rediculous...enough to snap my head back into the seat unexpectedly...and very few cars do that. I drove an SLR as well and it pales in comparision.

I dont think you could fit those big turbos in there...well..maybe you could all the way at the back of the engine..it is VERY tight under there...I had to replace an ABC line coming off the pump that ran down the left side of the engine, up and around the bellhousing and underneath...kind of like a backwards C.

Book time was something like 35 hours to do, they wanted you to take the engine out of the car..I did it with it in and beat my hands up in the process..super super tight.

AMG does not care..it might not handle like an M3 but this thing will $#@! all over everything BMW has and then some. In a straight line there is simply nothing that can touch it except maybe that X6 from Dubai with the PT turbos on it....then add Renntechs 205hp increase...its game over..lol.

These V12's have amazing potential that really has not been tapped. The turbos are K24's which in the Porsche community get upgraded all the time to ridiculous power levels but in the Mercedes are in a cast manifold.

If those turbos could just be taken out an modified we would see INSANE numbers out of these Benz's. Nothing would come close....

I can't wait till the SL65 Black Series start to depreciate as well.... that car is addicting. The SLS is a sweet deal too and would probably destroy the SL65 BS in corners, but there is something about the Black Series that exemplifies power very well Click here to enlarge

Same thing I am waiting for, they are in the 200k range right now. When they fall to 150k it will be a bargain.

Compared to the SL65 black series Gallardo's are played out.

The SL65 is a really special car. That twin turbo V12 also is in a league of its own.
