    996 Turbo 911 Vs ESS 535 M3 DCT

    Traction was non-existant for me.

We did 3-4 runs before this w/o a passenger, and the story was the same. I spin at the top of 2nd and 3rd in 45* weather.

I doubt it would have Changed the outcome much..

@benzy89 can attest as he is the camera guy Click here to enlarge

The Porsche is lightning quick, but it def helps that it's AWD and doesn't fry tires like LMs car did all night

To me it's a timeless design, the cool thing about porsches is almost every generation looks awesome and when new models come out they only slightly change it. That car you raced still turns heads....even though it's 6- 8 years old or so

I guess you love it or hate it ha

They are great cars I owned a 89 Turbo 911 loved it but it was scary to drive to say the least on twisty roads. I really and I mean really want to build a RWB 911 Coupe (no sunroof, no rear spoiler) with a LS7 (Forged, HCI) swap & built 6spd. But with a Singer 911 style interior and a hidden roll cage ala Ruf style. Crazy I know but a man can dream LOL

Mine cost about half that to tune. Surprisingly I was able to put the car together on a pretty tight budget. Just about everything was done in my garage with no lift.

Damn man you're really out to get me huh?! lol When we raced my clutch was slipping pretty bad in every gear. When I hit boost in 2nd it would start slipping and catch in the higher Rpms. It would do the same in 3rd gear and 4th felt like I hit a wall. It got progressively worse and i gave up on that evo run. That night was like the 4th time I had the car out after I modded it. Roshan did a couple logs with the car and put a mild tune on the car with 14-15 degrees of timing, 11.0 afrs, and 1.2 bar of boost. After I get a clutch put in we will dial in the pump gas tune on the dyno then see what she does at 1.5+ bar on e85. Thanks for taking the time to post the video.

Haven't heard of Roshan Patel but the car moves.

Was hoping for something for the front page of PorscheBoost but with you spinning not exactly a good race. Oh well...

Sounds like he is and is capable on several platforms. Haven't seen an LSX tuner tackle Porsche Turbos... nice.
