    velos tune 1/4 mile results.

    2009 c63 non p31 , velos tune, k&ns, charcoal delete. 150ft DA. On the right. Almost a half tank of gas 93 Oct. I weigh 204 lbs.

    Do you have a baseline 1/4 mile slip by any chance?

    sorry dont have a base in run in the 1/4 only in the 1/8th which was an 8.4 at 86 but that was at 1900 DA, i woulda flashed back to stock but dont know how to yet, im gonna have to send velos an email to see if i can flash back and forth from stock to tuned...

    I don't know about that, especially considering technically the charcoal delete and filter void the tune only argument somewhat.

    However, I think I have seen a couple guys go 120 tune only? Most likely not on pump though.

    idk...just looking through dragtimes, i cant find any one run better then 11.9 without either exhaust work or drag radials/MT DOTs....doesnt really matter....im just really impressed with the tune and the continental tires.....

    It's certainly worth finding out. Not every run is always on drag times but your run most definitely is impressive.

    Post some pics of your car when you get a chance as well. When we get some more details on how this run compares to others I believe I can make a front page article out of it.

    propain agrees its the fastest, and he has the fastest tune only with DR's. this is from mbworld forum.

    That is really impresive. Good job and excellent run. With skinnies and DR's your car should improve 0.2-0.4. Are you considering LT headers ? You should bein the low 11's with the aid of headers

    i cant really talk my self in to spending the money on headers, i bought cutouts to get welded in but theres not really any where useful to put them without causing major clearance issues, i might try the low profile version of cut outs, then ill do some runs with cutouts open vs closed. ive also been considering buying another AMG spare and using two as skinnies.
