    DMV Reciprocation ?

Does anyone know if all 50 states reciprocate for DMV points ? I'm asking cause I have a buddy who got a ticket in NC and he thinks if he pays it, it won't show up on his CA DMV record in the form of points. I was under the assumption that all 50 states reciprocate - but per the below the only 45 states reciprocate:

    Can anyone add anything ???

Depends on Cali what he actually gets, but NC will send them info. Its on the home state to adjudicate points. I had tickets in NC come back to me in NJ

For CA, it looks like an out of state ticket will result in 1 point being added to your driving record.

Moved to general automotive, have no idea. Guess it depends on the state.
