Thanks for those tips Petro. Hope you're enjoying your caddy. When are you going to post some videos?

I might give it a shot. Would I need a different tune for just headers and one for headers with race fuel?

I should also try tune with race fuel before I add headers.

Now I need to dyno before and after as well if I can find the time. All the shops I've reached out to are closed on Saturdays.

I will hook you up with a little MS109, blend it with some 93 pump gas ann its a nice blend. I run straight MS109 in the CLK and a blend in the C . I mitht bring the C BS to the track to get a vid of a side by side run of both cars to show the difference between a stock and heavily modded 63.

Take out your spare tire kit, first aid kit, floor mats, drain your washer fluid, remove headrests if possible (not drivers), take all the crap out of your glove boxes and dont run more than a quarter tank of gas.

It's almost as if you don't have a tune on the car, but maybe it was just too hot..traction, etc....

I wouldn't worry too much till you get more runs in better weather..
Did you use an app to get the DA adjusted time/mph?

...and for the record I also said that we would see the new re-designed body M3 before Sticky saw his car completed, looks like I am not going to be far off from that statement either.

I did better today. I improved my time from my first run by almost a full second.

I'm in the left lane. My reaction time was about as good as a toddler playing whack a mole on this run, but it's my personal best ET.

Unfortunately I can only tell you the ambient temp on my car was 96 degrees at the time, but it was definitely cooler outside.

I was able to weigh the car with everything in it including myself. Total weight was 4225 lbs.

I should also add that I added 5 gallons of 104 octane to my almost empty 9 octane fuel. This was the 3rd run after adding the fuel.
