    COBB ProTuned E85 FBO 335 Vs ESS 535+Meth DCT M3 Vs JB4 Only E85 335

    @benzy89

and I met up looking for some fun over in Mexico. Decided we wanted to see how it would go down, his buddy with the JB4 only E85 car made it a 3 way.

30mph start, alittle low for me, but eh, what 'ev's Click here to enlarge

We had a second run that I wasnt expecting, i jumped out and took the cameras off as to not draw attention. I didnt realize we would do another run.

This was from 20mph, i thought we would get back up to 30, maybe even try 40, so I was in 2nd gear... They jumped a few cars on me and it took quite a while to reel them in..

@longboarder this is what should happen with a 5 psi m3 vs a FBO n54..

Your car is running so strong @LostMarine, amazing stuff for low boost....Looks like @benzy89's car started to pull away from the JB4 car but you went so far out its hard to see what happened there

    Thanks.

there were a few stangs around there, some 99 cobra's, some termi's, a couple 2011 GT500's and a 13 GT500.. if they would have asked, i would have obliged, but i dont want to ask until i have another PSI or 2 Click here to enlarge everyone wanted to go from a dig (mostly awd cars) and i dunno how my cars gonna react on the street, so I deferred until i know what she's gonna do

Thanks DZ, it does feel stronger than previously, 4th gear was just out on them.. i wouldnt be suprised if i had a bit more power now with better meth flow.. benzy can comment, i didt see any of that once i took the lead Click here to enlarge

you guys would have been proud of the 2nd run, I would almost consider that a loss for me Click here to enlarge

Hell, if a protuned FBO car wouldn't even pull from a JB4 only car, I really get second thoughts about buying a Cobb! Looking forward to @benzy89 's comment.

It's too bad that Benzy couldn't run the map he got sent this morning lol. The JB4 wouldn't have gotten a jump on him which means instead of only crawling away he would have just ran away from the start. If you guys could re-run that would be great!

Sweet video! I love Mexico this time of year. Supercharged M3s can be pretty quick. I need to rematch PG... Click here to enlarge

RE: JB4 it's auto learning does well out of the box with E85 if you have the 15ohm board. Looks fairly strong in the video considering it's a tune only car.

It looked like the JB4 car passed Benzy lol. I wonder if jake massaged his IAT compensation tables? His IATs were probably sky high.

heres a better video, i guess the front camera was useful after all Click here to enlarge

@Sticky , i deleted the first, can you embedd in the original post?

The 2nd run there is no video. I was new to this "scene" and thought we were done, so i jumped out at a light (very dangerous in mexico) and pulled the cameras off.

Basically, we started at 20 mph, i was in 2nd gear, i could/should have been in 1st, but wasnt expecting to start so low, thought we would get back up to speed.

they took i think a 2-3 car lead on the jump and it took me a while to pull, but yes, i did pull

We have no problems doing it again, just need to find time

You pulled them pretty easily. Easier than I thought you would with this kit.

Hmm, was pretty much as expected for a blown M3. An RB 335i should be a good match at this power levels.

Yes but this is a comparatively weak blown M3.
