    2012 E550C resonator delete

    This is a clip from a forum member post (other forum). According to the member the car sounds like it should, without any side effects.:

    "Just had this done, 45 minutes and $200 (yes expensive but I knew the guy does good work). The car sounds phenomenal, this is how it should have sounded from the factory.

    The removal of the resonator makes the engine 100% more throaty, it's not deeper but much throttier (sp) and it burbles real nicely.

    My dealer recommended I do the resonator delete, I was originally looking at a muffler delete but they advised against it."
