    Random 4 second 1/4 mile cars, holy sh*t, why so different?

    perusing the youtube, and ran across 2 videos.

    4 second ET caught my eye.

    then i noticed something that made me chuckle.

    4.92@147 Vs 4.22@188mph

    you think it just requires that much more hp to go .7 faster when talking about 4 second Et's? or is the suspension the most critical aspect?

    I could be wrong but I think those are 1/8 mile numbers. Sounds like they let off well before the 1/4 mile mark.

    Impressive nonetheless.

    Nope, you are right my friend.

    And OP, YES it is ALL about suspenssion in the 1/8th, FWIW

    Just think about it, gearing is steeper, think 6:38 or taller here, so traction is worse, aka torque multiplier.

    Anyway, YES its chassie/suspenssion work.
