    All places I mentioned had free WiFi.
    If I remember correctly I had to pay $5,- a week for the WiFi password in Palau, but that's peanuts.

    It just depends on the hotel I think. Like I said stayed in a big city hotel and had free wifi. Some places in LA are doing it too. It encouraged me to book there.

    Funny how in 2 years everybody wants to have internet all the time, even on vacation.
    Just 2 years ago I couldn't be bothered with it on vacation, now I feel I really miss it when away.
    Fortunately almost every hotel offers WiFi now, even on the most remote locations.
    The problem is, you leave stress behind at work when you go on vacation, but it is stressful being on vacation not knowing what is going on at work, especially for business owners. I came back and we had an employee just up and leave. Hectic is an understatement.

    That's still a more than good enough ping for online gaming. Looks like FIOS throughput is huge but response lags a little.

    Can't remember but it was around 256kbps....Princess Cruise was the cruise line (golden princess).
