Wheel size questions.... need some help!

Planning to buy new wheels for my 2007 CLS 63 W219. I'm looking at 20" and know there will be no problems with rubbing, etc. Has anyone tried 22" wheels on this model? Would the 22" give the effect of the car being "lowered" since it fills out the wheel well? Your thoughts. Thanks

    Someone has done this.
But doing this will make your brakedisks look pathetic, so unless you have a big brake kit I would advise against it.

    Just look:

His setup was: staggerd 22/8.5 22/10.5 with 295/25/22 rear 235/30/22 fronts

Thanks for the link. I looked at some of the videos and I'm pondering the 22" !! I do have a decent size brake setup (AMG) with large rotors and calipers, but not yet sold on the 22".

Decided to stay with 20". May have the car lowered. Thanks for your input.

22 is just a bit too big for that car.

    Moved to wheels/tires.

I would cross Lexani right off your list.

Haven't seen anything bad on the forgelines just good things on this forum. I don't have personal experience with them.

I would highly advise not going 22's. You will feel like you just bought a rock crawler. I would highly recommend HRE, ADV.1, Vorsteiner, D2 Forged, and Vossen.

Here is a CLS we recently have done.
