FML - 1TB of data ALMOST lost.

Yeah, so being the smart ass that I am, I was trying to delete an old partition of windows...made my current partition unstable, I had to install a new OS, also in the process ended up deleting my 1TB partition.

Luckily, I didn't format it, so the data isn't lost.

Problem: recovering 1TB of data takes for effing EVER!!!!!

On top of that, I don't have any 2tb HDDs laying around. I can't use the one with the data on it because it is not formatted for windows...if I do that, all the data goes bye bye.

Anyways, I've got 3 laptops in my house and i'm going to SLOWLY...oh ever so slowly...fill them up until all my data is backed up.

    FML.

I've lost tons of data $#@!ing around with partitions back in the day. It was mostly just porn but it sure took a long time to collect over 56k.

I only have a couple of GB of information that I really only use. I'd be pissed if I lost that, can't imagine how I would feel if I lost a TB worth.

+1. Made the zip drives seem like floppies. I was always proud of myself for having enough memory in my sweet full tower case to run a 512k RAM disk. Tee hee

Huh. The damn turbo button. I remember you would be the coolest guy in the neighbour hood if:

    - You could do wheelie all the way in the street with bicycle.
    - You had a pentium 1 computer.
    - You had a nitro RC car.

I want to be in my childhood again.
