    Spray matte paint

This has been introduced in the market or some time. A spray that gives you a temporary matte look. Has anybody tried it? Is it safe for the paint?

I would never apply anything that comes out of a spray can to my car(s).

He's probably talking about that "plasti-dipped" spray product that some guys use on grilles and whatever. MBW w211 AMG forum recently had a guy using it to spray the chrome trim on an Xterra or something like that.
