I wonder what the Iphone 5 could really have over the 4S. I'll upgrade regardless, have to have the best.

The new MacBook Pro is sick. Not a huge fan of only SSD (longevity) - but in this case, I could care less. Click here to enlarge

SSD longevity really isn't an issue.

The maps are pretty sick. Looks to be way better than Google. Check out the demo in the link.

I should've rephrased. The reason I say longevity is an issue is because write performance degrades significantly over time. As a software engineer, we are compiling approximately 800 and 900 MB of source code 10 to 15 times a day on our local machine (clean + build) - which is about the worst scenario for a drive like this to be in.

Performance has gone down significantly over the past few months - but it is still much much faster than a mechanical drive.

As far as longetivity in terms of reliability - you are right, they are getting much better.

My Blackberry took a $#@! today and I was going to get an iPhone 4s but I think I'll hang tight with a replacement BB unitl the iPhone 5 comes out. Supposed to be later this year or at least I hope so...I'd be pissed if I got the 4s and the 5 came out.

    Maps is looking pretty good.

I'm really happy that Apple is starting to put some effort into their software as opposed to their hardware. They pack a bunch of awesome sensors into their hardware, increase the resolution of their screen, increase the processing power of all the devices etc. - yet the software is pretty much the same software you got with the old iPhone/original iPod (excluding Siri and a few small things). I think if they continue down this path of making great software to accompany the great hardware they're going to kick ass.

Maps look great, I am also very happy they fixed the photo upload issue on safari. The way Apple is integrating the cloud services will be revolutionary... the photo backups seem like something incredibly simple but the seamless way they have things integrated is amazing.
