The situation is getting more and more tense, Riot Police has been dispatched and are firing rubber bullets, over 60 arrests have been made on both sides:

Such an idiot that mayor is.

BTW what's up with the racist activities from Polish/Ukrainian crowd? I thought it was black people that got offended, but in the recent matches white players also were offended by racist comments.

Can't wait for it. I'm hoping 72-0 Poland and the Russian team goes home.

It wasn't just that. Ronaldo, Xavi and some others were addressed by the hosts as well. People should be more careful, FIFA is touchy when it comes to racism.

Regarding to the upcoming match, my predict is 2-1 Poland. Iran's B team won against Russia, i don't see why Poland can't make it happen.

Weird that it is an issue now. When the Italians were mocking Zidane for saying he looked like a terrorist and that his sister was a french whore that was ok?

So the Italians can talk smack on the French during the match but now they are looking to get sympathy from refs? Complete BS.

Not OK definitely. But Materazzi didn't say anything racist to Zidane. Both of them denied it specially the terrorist thing, he said $#@!ty words about Zidane's sister and for that he was banned for two matches.

FIFA has been touchy about racism for a long time. As we are talking, there is two files in FIFA about racism activities from Russia and Germany fans. Russia's case is worse and FIFA warned Russia's federation that they should control their fans or else FIFA will take action.

There is now a lot of comments from players with different nation about how they are not happy with racist atmosphere in stadiums. FIFA probably will do nothing against Polish/Ukrainians, but it will hurt the image of these people as a host which decreases the chance of holding such events in future.

And that's how it ended 1-1. Russia scored first but after that it seemed they didn't really want to play. In the 2nd half Poland was the attacking team with more chances.

The Italians talk more $#@! than anyone and say anything they can, racist, sexist, whatever. It's just a play for sympathy hoping to get calls. $#@! the Italians.

It was a beautiful goal but Poland had a bunch of opportunities to win this. They looked like the better team (they are!) but they were content with the draw at the end there which disappointed me.
