I am disappoint. The Japanese makes are way over represented (something like 40 skylines) plus most of their cars are "standard" and don't have cockpit views, wheel changes, etc available.

    Standard:
    120d ’04
    120i ’04
    320i Touring Car ’03
    330i ’05
    2002 Turbo ’73
    M3 ’04
    M3 CSL ’03
    M3 GTR ’03
    M3 GTR Race Car ’01
    M5 ’05
McLaren F1 GTR Race Car ’97
    M Coupe ’98
    V12 LMR Race Car ’99
    Z4 ’03

    Premium:
    135i Coupe ’07
    Concept 1 Series tii ’07
    M3 Coupe ’07
    M5 ’08
    Z4 ’03
    Z4 M Coupe ’08

They always do that, that is what I hate about Gran Turismo. They inflate the number of cars by doing 2058205t8290 versions of the RX7 or Skyline.

Forza has given better diversity intead of that blatant Japanese focus but we will see the final product.

You know what's hilarious? I looked at the first post, dated June 16th 2010...saying GT5 coming soon....5months later...it is here...!

I'm glad that only took 5 years to make....200 premium cars....out of the 1000+ in the game?

While I don't have a ps3, I do hope to see some DAMN good physics/vehicle damage on those premium cars, and I hope they have some DLC for all you PS3 owners out there. I would be highly disappointed if this game were to be limited at 200 premium cars, and like aforementioned...they have like 100 variations of the same damn car...so yeah....we'll see on the 24th!

Wait, so only some of the cars have a good damage model and physics?

The last one I played, GT4, was a joke compared to any of the Forza series, but that was on PS2 with way less processing power, and I'm down to give GT5 a shot.

You guys should try Live for Speed, rFactor, iRacing, Richard Burns Rally (my fav after LFS) and NetKar PRO.

The G25 and G27 are almost identical, except the G25 has gear driven force feedback and the G27 is belt driven. The G27 also does not have a sequential shift mode, but the 6-speed feels more solid.

    I have a G25 and love it!

They both do. They are identical except the G27 has lights on the wheel and uses a belt for Force Feedback, and ditched the sequential mode to make the 6-speed more sturdy.

With up to 900degrees lock to lock, STRONG force feedback, no dead-zone/solid center feel, clutch/brake/gas with different "feeling" for each, paddle shifters and 6-speed gearbox with reverse and built in mounting locks, it is the BEST gaming wheel for the price, in my opinion.
