A good launch will improve trap if and only if you are spinning like crazy, which i dont think you are.

You inflated your trap, he didn't. He isn't launching well just basically rolling into it and not hooking cleanly. Much more room to improve for him improve here.

Run a 10 second ET with your same trap and prove me wrong, ok? At a higher power level it becomes even more disproportional. Keep your insults to yourself btw.

At the strip (or just for launching the car in general) is the Stang's solid rear axle an advantage/disadvantge versus an IRS?

Just look at when Laloosh's shifts! the shift points in the video seem to be parallel between the two cars Yet he loses no ground! Amazing what a good driver will do.

Its sad but it reminds me when I used to take my 04 sentra spec-v to the strip and run 14.6@96 vs the other specs at mid 15's@87-90 and get accused of spraying. Just because I shifted better.. Oh the days just after high school when 14's was considered fast. Haha.

Yup, no real advantage to the dct against him.. Looks like I'll just have to go back my plan of overpowering everyone.. If only for a short time

next month i'm gonna be renting a 2013 mustang gt auto to get a feel of the car, if i like it after the 3days it looks like it'll be my next car given how well it responds to mods...just gotta search more on how they do in +2000-2300ft DA as that's the norm here.

yeah, i miss it as well. i had 70k miles on it and not one issue with it what so ever and i took it to the strip with well over 200 passes. though i mostly went through the cane fields as i loved long sweeping drifts in the dirt. i had the exact same mods as you minus the cams(stupid misfire codes and gave them to gurov on the forums) and suspension. i could only best a 14.6. i wish we had the DA you guys can get.

oh and tray sliding before we realized you get like 20ft before the tray is no longer there and wala, flat spots haha.
    this is me. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/s...rays_37268.htm

that would be the plan...with that kind of power, DA wouldn't be as much of a problem. but a 3day rental would be the most realistic way to see how it performs here...

What year? 385 for a bone stock car sounds about right, maybe 5-10 high. People with my mods are somewhere around 410-420 with some crazy ones here and there.

I can't believe I found this video, lol. I was telling my buddy how I saw the cleanest black on black M3 at ATCO with a mean exhaust and how I ran him etc, he then sent me here, lol small world. Its cool to see the run from the other car. The track was slight off that night, I had really bad wheel hop as you can see in the video. I have since been able to run an 11.5 at 132. Just google Drag1 turbos2200 and it should pop right up. You should see your car as I get into the Water box

lol, thats funny, i just checked my yahoo email/youtube and there was like 20 comments talking about joey balls. Were you at 580 or 640 hp for these runs?

I dont think the track was off, it just started getting warmer, my times have gone down everytime out since its heating up. Are you local to Atco?
