Speeddriven claiming whipple supercharger kit for M113K motors (55 AMG) for under $6k? Too good to be true?

These are some bold claims here with little much of anything to back them up. No picture of the supercharger fitted, they don't mention the model, no project car even spoken of. I mean, I want to see it, but this is a lot of talk:

Just a little info, I spoke with Alex today about my S600. We spoke for about 20 minutes, and they are for real. They have a IC upgrade for me that Brabus charges about 3 times as much, and is NOT as good.

Wait guys, and I will bet you will not be disappointedClick here to enlarge

I know their M275 is pretty good (although we need to see more from it as well) but this is a pretty bold claim for the 55's without anything to back it up. Their twin turbo stuff we have seen dyno's for at least and the parts involved.

I heard Joe at Speeddriven used to work at Renntech and basically brought with him their solutions which they then farm out to low-bid Chinese companies to keep costs down. If low cost Chinese parts are what you want on your German barn stormer, then there ya go. Otherwise, they're just resellers: MBH (MB products), Switzer (GT-R and Porsche products), G-Power (BMW products)...

    game not changed.

M275 stuff is going good, tracks are opening really soon here. Working on fuel system upgrade too as we have reached the limit of the stock fuel line and more pump and bigger injectors are not keeping up. In terms of the 55 blower, we have some pics up soon. It will be some time before we take a 55k whipple down the 1320 since we do have other projects that are in progress that need attention too. The addition of Alex to the shop will hopefully allow me to focus more on the shop and start moving along faster on the hardware.

Isn't that M113 a bit old to do development on it? I mean those are all old and high milage engines by now and i wouldn't want to bolt on a supercharger and blow it sky high?
Also, kleeman has a whipple - type supercharger already for little money?

It's an older platform now and I argued this point as to why the M156 gets more attention. However, there are still a good number of these out there and it would be good to see it get development.

The 55k is left to the poor people who are choosing between a new Kia and a 6+ year old Mercedes. I think the focus should be on the newer biturbo stuff. Those things give me wood!

There is a lot of focus on the M157's... does not mean there can not be focus on this as well.

    No worries.

Well, it will be cool to see what they come up with - I wonder how similar it will be to Weistec's approach? Time will tell, I suppose.

Looking forward to seeing both solutions in action. This is WAY overdue in my opinion.
