I take it we have all forgotten about this? http://www.germanboost.com/showthrea...t-Brands-sites

Seems best to get them from a dealer who can reimburse you, just to be safe.

If you want lightweight, I strongly advise not going with ADV.

Forgeline just came out with their Concave Series. They have a good racing heritage. Many cars use their wheels in the 24 hours of Daytona. But they will set you back a good $5k+ for a set of 19's.

What happened with Forgestar? They are a good bang for your buck.

Looks like it is starting all over again.

Eugene posted these on other forum. Cracked forged ADV10TS. 5 weeks still no replacement from ADV, not even a tracking number.

Not all of us. Based on history alone, I would never consider these wheels. I would also question the character of any vendor that carried them- Most of them know they'll have to take the heat for problems if the manufacturer doesn't back the product. Look at those cracked rims- you could frickin die at high speeds with that! Buyer Beware...

Steve, you know we can get our hands on just about anything, why didnt you just get ahold of me fkrst? We sell Adv1 and Vossen...we just had an E93 with Vossens on it in the shop yesterday...so sick lookin.

Given the history with ADV1 and other things Im not sure why you would want them lol. TE37s are cheaper and a helluva lot lighter. And concave as well.

I spoke to Omar@Velos about ADV and he left me fairly confident but seeing Eugene's issue reminded me of all the past issues.

Glad people like you still remember the history though.

I just don't like how ADV trys to portray themselves as this big wheel manufacturer. When in fact their headquarters are in Florida, while their wheels are made in California by another company. MHT machines all their wheels in Southern California.

Why people keep giving them money I don't understand. You can pay the same amount and get a top shelf product from a company like HRE, that does their own manufacturing in their own facilities.

It is funny they call it "their facilities in California". But what they do is rent space at MHT headquarters. MHT machinces all their wheels.

You can't go through MHT, as ADV owns the rights to the actual wheels designs.

Just need some 3d cad software.

Hell you could start a wheel company, with the same business model as ADV. It isn't difficult, just need capital, 3d cad designer, contract with wheel manufacturer, and spam the crap out of internet forums.

The best interpretation of what they did I have seen.

They spammed everywhere with their pics. It worked.

we have an account with MHT. the funny $#@! is that their Long Island warehouse is two blocks away from Camber-Toe LOL

They make wheels for pretty much the entire country, aside from a few brands as stated.

forgestars are heavy as $#@! bro. You need to come up here and look through some catalogs for something light...remember that less wheel weight translates in less hp lost to turn the wheels. which means your 60-130 times will get better Click here to enlarge
