That would be the Evo 4G. Check out the reviews and videos. One damn impressive phone. Finally a phone with a real camera, 8 megapixel.

It isn't a big deal, really. People are signing up for new contracts, upgrading to the iphone 4. When there is a iphone 4G coming and it most likely will not be on ATT. I will wait, keeping my 3GS. If you know Apple they will want to compete with phones like the new Evo 4G.

Verizon is 1 year ahead on building their 4G network. I don't see Apple waiting for ATT to build their 4G network.

    i hear some people are having problems like this;

WARNING! Upgrading to iOS4 could cause you to lose all your iPhone data. Even if you try to restore it later in iTunes.

I just upgraded a (normal, non-jailbroken, non-hacked-in-any-way) iPhone 3G to iOS4. I carefully answered all the questions about backing up the phone before the install, etc. But after the long installation process completed, the phone restarted and all my settings are gone:
My contacts list is completely empty -- no names, no phone numbers, etc.
My mail config is wiped out
The weather app is set to Cupertino
My WiFi networks list is empty
    My Safari bookmarks are gone
    My Notes are gone
Though my apps were reinstalled after the next sync, all their settings are gone too.

At the moment, I'm attempting to restore in iTunes. I tried the backup labeled "Mike's iPhone", but that didn't work. The next-oldest backup is from around the time of the upgrade, but that didn't work either -- maybe it's from after the upgrade. The next-oldest after that is from two weeks ago. I'm trying that one now. Hopefully I'll only have lost two weeks of data, and not two years. Anyway, it's slow going because each time I try, it insists on re-syncing all music, photos, etc -- even if I uncheck "Sync music", "Sync photos", "Sync podcasts", etc. I wish I could get it to forget about that stuff for now and work on the bulleted items above.

This happened to at least three other admins.

I found a forum post where many other people are reporting this same problem, but it's not getting much attention.

    In line waiting for mine.

Upgraded my 3GS to iOS 4 without issue, and it's jailbroken, too.

Update: Went to Apple store today at 10am like they said with my iPhone pickup sheet. They took me right in and swapped it, I would have been pissed if they made me wait in line. Phone is perfect, had to go to AT&T to get a new sim card, but all is well now!

once a jailbreak is released, you can install 3g unrestrictor which fools the phone into thinking its always connected to wifi. By doing this, all wifi dependent apps will run on 3G Click here to enlarge

Just read that apple can now track jailbroken phones with the new iOS4 and void warranties. They can also check if a phone is not on ATT carrier. Also when using facetime they can locate both phones and track the location of the phones.
