yeah sorry about the misinformation. he sent me the vids the other night and i thought i'd share, i guess i played telephone and just inferred that because of the different pull characteristic it was a cam switch when in fact it was the speed and tranny that made the difference. i also cannot wait for the rematch, i can join if you all are interested Click here to enlarge

rmat16, do you know if the E92 M3 owner changed up any of the mods compared to the ones listed in that link to M3Post?

As far as I know, Eisenmann does not make a XPipe. They only produce connecting pipes that connect to the OE XPipe. Two very different things. So if he hasn't changed anything since that posted mod list, then he definitely has two sets of cats.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Nice 5.0! I hear those things are a blast to drive Click here to enlarge

^^ Some of us in reality are more along the lines of 116-117 in normal conditions catted/tuned/etc.

115-117 is what you can expect,

i would assume ill be in the 117 range if FBO, but im not doing pulley or airbox, probably gonna get a tune, since the loader would go hand in hand with the s/c..

I trapped 115 first time ever at the track in the 5.0 with all my current mods, but on my OEM 18" 235/50 All-Seasons. An oil spill prevented me from running again that evening, and I haven't since, but I know for a fact that's no where near the car's potential.

Oddjob2021 was there that night as well.

Need to find the time to back :/

In NA form it's obvious the Mustang 5.0 has more potential. The engine is not pushed nearly as hard from the factory.

Actually in any form Click here to enlarge. One just nailed 906 on 91 octane stock motor. Others that are built are over 1000whp

What are you talking about. I defended stock motor language as bolt ons. As for the 906whp, bone stock motor with turbos and bolt ons. Stock rods stock pistons stock heads ect ect. Will it last? No probably not.

Compression ratio. That 5.0 wont last, btw 1047 is the latest number with race gas. However if you build the bottom end the. The 5.0 heads are said to actually flow better.

GT500's have had a supercharged 5.4 with forged internals for quite some time. No variable valve control (pretty sure), but beasts in their own regard. Received a lighter block and some other upgrades for 2011, and the 2013's are getting a new blown 5.8 with 650hp. Can't even imagine one of those after a pulley and some bolt-ons.

With forced induction I will take the S65 with its higher redline and better heads. The problem is the lack of space for a big fat single turbo.
