Oil and Gas - who works in the industry?

Alright, so I live in the energy capital...Houston. Have been on the job hunt and have had several interviews - Cameron, Baker Hughes, Halliburton...

I figured if anyone on the board works in the industry and can provide some insights, would be great info!

Do you have a degree even not so related to this industry?

I have worked for Halliburton doing IT - so its a new field for me in terms of work experience. However, I am getting my Master's in Supply Chain Management...so it'll be a new experience.

It's annoying because they all are looking for full-time hires who already have their MBA as oppose to someone who is currently finishing...hopefully something comes up!
