Nobody is excited about this? I think I'm going to go get it at midnight tomorrow. Great launch lineup, look at these graphics:

Also can't wait for MLB 12:

And every game is available as a digital download. No more stupid discs to switch or insane load times.

Well I got it. Seems absolutely NOBODY is excited about this thing.

Went to the midnight launch in LA and there were more cops than customers.

My PSN ID is BimmerBoost_com add me!

Seems there are network issues as I can't buy any games... downloading demos.

Well there is no other alternative for mobile gaming. Plus, the whole old PSP library is compatible with it, you can use netflix, all digital downloads, and it's slightly less powerful than a PS3.

Only $250. Memory stick is a rip off though, 32 gigs $100. Yep, thieves.

I have to check it out. It will probably eat dust on the shelf if i buy one though, but $250 ain't much.

My PSP collects dust and that thing didn't do half the stuff this one does for the same price.

I would buy it but if it gets abandoned its a paperweight. When MLB 11 comes out I may rethink my stance. For now my iPhone works great as a gaming platform.

The memory card prices for a proprietary format are ridiculous. You can buy a 32gb microSD for 30 dollars nowadays.

It can't really get abandoned, it's Sony not Sega. Secondly, you have so much digital content that it will always have something.

Iphone as a gaming platform? Play uncharted and tell me that.

Yes, Sony has us by the balls on the proprietary memory. They still haven't learned open formats and source are the keys to success. They have no challenger though.

Not into mobile gaming platforms. I have one game that I play on my phone, and it was $.99.

I guess the PSPgo slipped your mind.

Iphone is a fine gaming platform. Have you tried Dead Space, Real Racing 2 or galaxy on fire 2? It's success is the reason Sony went with accelerometers and gyroscopes and capacitive touch screen in the vita. Like I said, it's impressive hardware but I need to see a jailbreak for homebrew/emulators or more games for the thing before I drop 250 + accessories on it.

The Iphone can't give me MLB 12 or Fifa 2012

Touche, but I can easily get MLB 12 for my PS3 Click here to enlarge No sense in dropping $250 to play it on the go, not yet at least. It's on my watch list for sure though.

PS - Fifa 12 is available for iPad/iPhone and it's actually quite good. The passing with swipe controls is pretty cool.

Yes but you can't put your PS3 in your pocket or play it while taking a dump.

Give the Vita a chance at a local store.

Wipeout 2048 is a ton of fun! Graphics are amazing and it's a blast so far.

Downloading Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus now, never played the new Ninja Gaiden.

I played with it at a Sony booth last year in November - interesting, but I keep my gaming to the PC. Phones are distracting enough and no real reason for me to carry an additional gadget...unless they make a PSP Vita Phone.

I'm done with handheld gaming devices. The last one was a PS Portable, which I almost never used.

I'm really enjoying the Vita. I mean, phones are nice for casual gaming but not real gaming.

I can't carry my computer everywhere. I like it Click here to enlarge

I wanted to get one, but portable gaming has let me down SO much...and these systems aren't as cheap as they used to be...I mean...I used to be able to go buy a Gameboy Color for like 70 bucks...now it's 250 for the console, 50 for the game, 100 for the memory card...that's too much...I bought a bad ass ASUS ROG laptop on clearance for under 500 haha...but we'll see...if it's that good I might go pick one up later...I have like 200 bucks on credit at Gamestop anyway...I also want to see some more games...You should write an in-depth review for us Stick...that would be greatly appreciated, with pics and video and such...maybe some ladies Click here to enlarge

It's worth the cost. Gameboy is crap in comparison.

Try it out at the store, it's awesome.
