I suspect their new version V4 must have had the cam timing done hence them being able to find more power on all the cars they updated. This brings the cars in line with the local to me cars that are hovering around 500whp.
I agree with that, I believe there is some power to be found in the cam tuning even without cams. Problem is that finding these maps are not that easy. We are seeing over 500 whp with exhaust, sotfware, pulley and intake spacer. The figures i am quoting are on uncorrected dynos.

So 500whp with the right weight reduction mods are good for 10 sec passes.

I have monitored airflow on dyno and most fans generate about 20g/s less than what I see on the road.

Sorry I should be more specific, my car is tuned locally by a company called Motronix, based here in SA. Dyno being used is a Dastek load dyno.
So cars are making that power under load and not on inertia runs.

Interesting, thanks. Haven't heard of Motronix, got any graphs to share? Or maybe start a thread on your car, like to read about different approaches and tuners.

The damos file became readily available around the time the V4 came out but having them is like owning a 747 without a pilot. Seems Mhp found a pilot hence them overcoming tuning challenges with the cams and made more gains without. Will be interesting if the rest of the international tuners follow suite power wise which will mean files have leaked or they also making progress of what we have had locally for over a year.

Mo has had the damos for a long time, I must ask him again about the cam maps.

Haven't tracked the car with the new dyno tune, but I ran 10.66 with a little less Hp

this is coming from the person who has been stating that his Cams and heads can add 100RWHP. Just now he is claiming he has cracked the code with his new tuner for a 42RWHP gain. MHP and Andy is a lie. Be careful and stay away from that freak.

In your own way you do make a point. It seems the tuning is a very new development so the cam upgrade being sold much earlier seems like it was being sold without any real solution to make it work.

I think people are well aware of the guy and some choose to use him and some don't. It's personal responsibility, the information is there.
