For the record I have never heard of Apex Speed Technology
They are a small local tuner that deals with standalones.

You would think Brad wouldn't do it... but he did.

Cut them out of the Pectel market which was their biggest market.

I haven't heard any update in a while:

Still locked in a battle. I'm supposed to get a response from them this week.

Had a face-to-face meeting with Brad & Hal (the new president) earlier this week. I'll tell you about it on the phone later.

It just never ceases to amaze me what a $#@!ing ruthless, cut throat unscrupulous business the automotive aftermarket industry is.
Regardless, I'd still like to know more about what happened to this CLK BS race car effort. Shame if it's just sitting in a shop, it was by far one of the coolest BS projects to date.

It doesn't have to be. Some personalities are that way though. People just want $ they don't care about anything else.

As cool of a project as it was they should have built a C63 coupe or a C63 BS for the simple fact that it was a current and relivent body/platform. It would have cost an extra $40k, in the grand scheme of things that is chump change when you are talking about a race program of this caliber. It would have also sealed up a ton of aftermarket business for the C Coupes and C BS. When is the last time you heard evosport or evosport product mentioned on one of the MB forums?

    Here:

    Oh what ride.

Cosworth USA laid everyone but a few staffers off, including Brad. They persist at defaming me at their own expense, they owe me a lot of money and I am barely limping along.

But in better news, MOTEC & AEM have really stepped up and want us to be a bigger part so our BMW business is stronger than ever! Don't know where Brad ended up.

Saw him browsing 6speed searching for something the other day from his Evosport account. So we'll see I guess...

I would guess evosport is on it's last legs by what I am seeing. The CLK race program has "imploded". In looking at their website it is so outdated makes me wonder if they even have a clue about updating a web page. They have the M156 power pulley listed on their "new products", I think they introduced that pulley over four years ago, I had the first one on my CLK. The top mount E55 Kompressor intercoole has been saying "coming soon" for over a year on their home page. They have a link on their home page to their "2009 Race Team".....really pretty sad that a company that was a top tier tuner three years ago has fallen off the map, especially with a big injection of cash from several investors. They will make excuses about the economy back when they were expanding but you look at companies like Weistec that started up in the same economy, in the same market in the same frigging county and it is on of those things that make you go hmmmmm.
