Many CLK black series for sale

Just how many of these things did they make? There seems to be alot up for sale recently, and some with ludicrous low milage.

    How much were these new?

That link you provided shows 6 Black Series for sale and bear in mind it's Flebeay and I rarely trust anything I see on there. IIRC there were 367 (500 made worldwide) imported to the US and the MSRP was $138,375; which is exactly what I paid for mine.

Thanks for the heads up. It just seemed like alot of them to me, as you seldom see one in person, other than at a track event. And then they seldom run, atleast around my neigbhor hood, LOL

    You dont trust Ebay? Why?

There always seems to be at least 3-4 BS's for sale on Ebay at anytime. 99% of them from trusted sellers with excellent feedback. Now I would never BUY a car from there, but I would use it for the advertisment of where to find it. Thats pretty much why they use ebay. My local MB dealer Ebay's their pre-owned inventory.

As an advertisement medium it's fine. However I've had bad experiences with eBay and also with PayPal and they have NEVER once been any help whatsoever in resolving the issue(s). I've also seen many fraudulent listings from sellers as well as deceptive marketing strategies and a host of other crap. In short, I will NEVER give eBay or PayPal one red cent of my money ever again.

Fair enough. I would never purchase a vehicle off Ebay, thats for sure. I have purchased a few items though. I had a problem with only 1 seller in all that time. The guy used cans of chili to fill the void in a box that was to big to hold an item. LOL

IMO ebay is very neutral, you can find good and you can find bad. It's up to the consumer to take the risk, like in any business, a bond of trust has to be formed between buyer and seller.

Basically, dont bid on a something if the seller has zero feedback score and his account name is ADAM1206885, you get the picture.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

Exactly my friend. Ebay is a GREAT gauge for current market value, as NADA and KBB suck, IMHO.

Again, I don't think I would buy a car directly, but I use them to determine current market value as a tool for negotiating with my local dealers. Worked like a charm for my AudiClick here to enlarge.

You might want to send Earl a PM, this is actually his area of expertise, he can probably recomend some good options for you. Wire transfers are very easy, all of my payments to Weistec are routed via wire transfer and it couldnt be any more simple for either party. The funds are there and available within minutes and no additional steps are needed unlike Paypay with gets the funds into your Paypal account in seconds or minutes but then requires additional steps and several days to transfer those funds from your Paypal account into your checking/savings account. I pay most of my vendors vis wire transfer as well, it takes only a 1/4 of the time for my accounts payable department to wire transfer vs. issueing paper checks, not to mention hassles, costs and delays of using the U.S Postal service. Your bank as well as your customers and sponsors banks should have very simple online banking options now. In 5 minutes I could have you set up as a payee out of my personal or business checking accounts, it even gives the option for a one-time only or recuring payment. If recuring I can set it up monthly or bi-monthly on the same date or I can go in and schedule 12 months worth of payments on pre-determined pay dates. There is absolutely no reason to have to rely on Paypal these days. Paypal still has it's place for certain type of things, say for instance if I were setting up a track event and needed to recieve payment from lots of people but as far as business transactions go it's a waste and hassel.

Absolutely true, but Paypal allows recurring billing from a credit card. That is key for dealing with vendors making payments to me...

As Cart says, I have just a little bit of experience in this field and would never use a third party data warehouse facility like Amazon. My transfers are made via Switzerland and that is just the way I like it (and in case any of you are with the IRS, I am not an American citizen or resident so I am not hiding anything!!!).
