Apex Speed Tech and the Magnus Racing No. 4 Porsche GT3 At Daytona
I'm engineering the Children’s Tumor Foundation/Racing4Research No. 4 Porsche GT3 at this year's 24 hours of Daytona, and Tim from Apex is one of the crew members. We're really excited to be a part of this program. The driver lineup includes 24 Hours of Lemans and FIA GT2 Champ Justin Bell, Compass 360 Honda driver Ryan Eversely & Daytona veterans Daniel Graeff and Ron Yaraball.
Its an honor to work with Magnus Racing's engineer Lars Giersing & championship winning crew chief Tucker Merten on this deal. I wanted to thank the staff at Magnus and Racing4Rearch's Jill Beck for bringing us on board. They all were very generous at bringing us up to speed with the car and their program in a really short amount of time.
We're pretty happy with the pace; 3 of the drivers set personal best times in a Porsche, and we ended the last session with a 1:51.019 - about 0.7s off the fastest car and I'm confident we have the pace to run at the top!
We'll be streaming live from the pits during the race and taking fan questions over the internet. Justin will be providing live, in-car commentary for Ebay Motors and Speed TV, so there will be lots of opportunities for people to get an inside look into the team. Any forum members should stop by the Magnus Racing garages and say hello!

Magnus motorsports is a great team. Their shop is not far from where I live, and I used to pit crew for John Bedell. He is a great crew chief.
