18,500 net to export...wow that is a lot! 63master, stuff sold in the EU automatically included VAT unless noted otherwise so my assumption was it would have to be taken out to compare items pre-tax. From your email they have already given the ex-vat price which is quite expensive! Sorry for the confusion.

    Sorry for the confusion.

It seems the power on the wheels on the chart posted is 633whp. That seems over the top for a Stage 1+.
They charging quite a bit of money for the kit which we are not sure yet what it is. I will contact the South African distributor out of interest as I have heard they are also using a similar if not greater mark up.

Sounds good. I think we all agree it is somewhat unlikely they are making 633whp with only a s/c, tune, and water tank!

    Gentelmen,

The numbers shown are all crank Numbers. The 633 number is a mid range throttle opening. No wheel numbers here. The peak HP is 689, that is crank horsepower. This dyno is similar to Dynomaha

This type of dyno reads a little higher than a normal Dynomaha due to peak fuel cut off point

Last I checked radleistung gemmesen means measured power at the wheels.

Let me ask you. How can you have a peak crank horsepower rating of 689, and at the same time 633 at the wheel ?

Thats like 9 percent drivetrain loss, which is impossible, unless you have another explanation, im eager to hear about it

I am merely translating what it says on the dyno sheet. Those dynos calculate flywheel power by using the coast down method to measure the losses, doing this in fifth gear has obviously thrown everything off because a algorythm is used that measures rate of deceleration of the roller vs their weight. There is a chance that the calibration for flywheel power is correct when it reflects wrong wheel horse power, I have seen this before numerous times. European markets are pretty stuck on flywheel power so the customers want to see their stock power and modded power as the manufacturer would give it to them.
I also do not see how a extra 20hp will yield 20km/h extra above 310km/h.
So all in all Vath's figures do not gel.
