    Good to hear that.

Anyone know if Eurotek/Techtec still uses epoxy on customer ECUs, or have they stopped that practice?

Petro thank you for answering some of the questions. I had a great time yesterday and it was great to meet you. Dodger it was nice to finally meet your car haha.

I can assure you that this post was 100% my idea. After we wrapped up last night I asked Andy to put together the data from yesterday and offered to post it up here on Benzboost. Its all factual data and the gains speak for themselves. From a competition stand point this means we can expect everyone to step their game up. In the end this allows all of us to get a better product at a more competitive price regardless of who the supplier may be.

To answer some of the other questions that were brought up:

Who's the new tuner? - This isn't for Petro, Dodger or myself to share. In my opinion all that needs to be known is that the new tune has already proven itself on the track and dyno.

Will NDA's be required for tunes? - Obviously with the small market our vehicles represent protecting your business is key. We signed NDA's because we were able to physically meet the tuner and interact while our cars were tuned on the dyno. I won't speak for Andy on this subject. If you are interested in a tune I would suggest calling/emailing him directly for an answer.

Were the baseline pulls done same day? - Yes. Petro and Dodger sent their ecu's back to MHP to have the Techtec files reloaded after running at ATCO and MIR. I drove my car to the dyno with the Techtec file. Each vehicle made 2 baseline pulls with the old Techtec software prior to tuning thus insuring accurate gains were represented when overlaying the old tune vs the new tune.

Dyno #'s? - Regardless of interpretation the key info here is the gains throughout the powerband. Having completed baseline pulls with the Techtec software on the same dyno, same day and the same conditions takes out any guess work.

Pricing? - Edited, we aren't advertising his pricing or where to get it.

Huh? I don't get this. Can you elaborate? It would seem your saying Petro and Dodger after running MHP's new tune sent their ECU's back to Techtec, a tuner MHP was no longer doing business with to have their tune reloaded. Did they contact Techtec / Evotech directly for this? Maybe I am misinterpreting.

Pricing? - All of the pricing has been updated on MHP's website.

MHP still has V3 as their listed tune only option. (Still says they are the record holder too, LOL) What does CDT R stand for anyhow?

Here's an old dyno from RENNtech on the M156 with cats on warmer weather for comparison (using same correction factor as MHP, uncorrected & Smoothing 3).

I'm sure posting here was your idea - but it was clearly not written by you, but by Andy.
Do you and Andy think we're all that stupid ???
Once again, more deceptive posts with Andy pulling the strings of yet another mouthpiece because he's worn out his welcome and thinks simple dyno numbers will clear his name and make everyone forget the past. And the whole shroud of secrecy behind who this new and improved tuner is, NDA's and whatnot should make anyone think twice about trusting their motor to MHP. I'd bet it's only a matter of time until we hear about one of these motors grenading. There is only so much you can do with the M156 from a tuning standpoint before you start risking damage.
And as far as the price goes....well, you get what you pay for.

He isn't doing anything wrong or insulting anyone although Andy is insulting our intelligence a bit. It's obvious, everyone pointed it out.

    I certainly hope not.

I think amgftw had good intentions with the thread. It's unfortunate the situation that Andy created (and continues to create?) is making this a bit uncomfortable.

If you feel uncomfortable take my initial post(#4) and start a new thread. Use the bolded part as the thread topic.

The M156 has proven to be pretty stout... I only know of one that "grenaded" while using an aftermarket ECU tune at the time, and it was never even determined (for, or against) if the tune was even a factor.
