Sticky points are well noted. The M278 4.7L V8 Biturbo with a tune will actually perform better all around with the increase torque. Usually customers with heavier 4matics such as S, ML & CL class will be notice a great initial drive dynamics acceleration increase from stock. It will be comparable in performance acceleration of similar AMG63 class w/o PP biturbo cars. Some other points:

    1) Fuel economy will remain same if you can drive the same way after the tune.
    2) Speed limiter can be raised upon customer request
    3) Transmission adaptation shift points remains same in Comfort or Sport mode.
    4) Tune are available with optional high flow kat downpipes, and/or modified ECO mode stop start at no additional charge.

A lot of these were answered but let me answer what I know. Also, paging @m54b25

    a. no, it should be better with increased torque.
    b. that is likely a function of having a turbocharged motor but throttle response can be changed.
    c. don't think so
    d. yes
    e. heavier foot, it will go down.
    f. freer flowing filter will only help.
    g. just likely to save time and a small oversight.
    h. yes, more tune updates in the works and accessories.

Do we have any ETA's/guesses as to when the accessories might be released?

I would only be speculating, you have to ask @m54b25 for something concrete.

Thanx, Sticky. I'll be giving RENNtech another call shortly, but I want to run a base dyno first. If all goes well, I should have some free time at the end of the month and hope to get that accomplished.

+1, except IMHO believe it's similar to a CLS63 without PP; regardless, it's great performance and a "sleeper".

If you're interested in aftermarket exhaust for the V-8 Bi-Turbo E class, see the clips below from PM's with Rob/Vivid Racing.

    "
I guess there's not enough demand, but it would be great if someone offered a larger diameter exhaust system for the V-8 Bi-turbo engine in the '12 E coupe. According to RENNtech, this engine dyno'd about 460 hp (stock).
    Dueclaws"

"Meisterschaft is doing development for their new E550 with the v8tt stuff now, eta about 2 months to us soil. I'm waiting for one for my CLS63....
    Rob"

Thanks Rob! Is it OK to share the information about the new Meisterschaft stuff on the forum?

Yeah you can post that I'll try and get you some pictures soon. I think they are going to do it with valves and a version without valves. Should be similar pricing to the 2010 E550 coupe that they offer."

So that is going to be the only exhaust options available for now?

    Sticky-
To my knowledge this will be the only option (at this time) to improve the exhaust for a E Coupe (and CLS63 or E sedan?) V8 Bi-Turbo.
I told Rob at Vivid Racing that I posted on this site: maybe he'll chime in.

I see, thanks. We will see how the exhaust options develop, surprised more are not tackling it.
