Singh / ECU Tuning Group claiming Techtec never even heard of MHP?

What would the explanation for this be or is Singh lying?

In fact, we were the first company to introduce this tune to North America.

Listen, I spoke to Jags and he has a close relationship with the owner of Techtec. Techtec has not heard nor has any relationship with MHP. This is from the owner of Techtec himself. The only other tuner in North America that we have respect for is Renntech. If it still needs to be cleared up, we can fly and meet at the headquarters of Techtec and have a open conversation.

We are not here to bicker. I know you guys keep asking us, but can we please get over this now?? ECU Tuning Group has never heard of MHP. Techtec has never heard of MHP.

We don't have anything against MHP. We're just stating that ETG and Techtec have never heard of them. In the end, we wish the best of luck to MHP.

i just looked at their website , which is pretty boring looking , and the price for tuning a Veyron is $19,995 . wonder how many they will tune or even see ? there are people on the CLS portion of MBW asking them questions and they aren't answering . they claim only a certain amount of power gain but they say it's due to the fact that the engine was very hot and it was a boiling hot day in L.A. It seems like they are just flashing canned tunes from Techtec.

Nice pricing on the Veyron tune, think there is any markup on that?

We can form our own ECU Tuning Group then too.

It's almost getting ridiculous how many companies are trying to make a name for themselves by just reselling and marking up Techtec tunes. Why Techtec doesn't cut all these people out of the market I have no clue.

I don't know if he was caught but there was some big customs issue involving a hidden wad of cash, where this issue is now I have no idea:

    http://www.commercialappeal.com/news...re-of-package/

A FedEx package passing through Memphis from England two years ago raised the curiosity of security agents who noticed the sender had spent more than $400 to ship stereo speakers he valued at $281.

Now federal prosecutors in Memphis, suspecting a money-smuggling operation, have filed a forfeiture petition seeking to seize the $274,912 in dollars and British pounds they found hidden inside the two Sony speakers.

The money and speakers sent from a "Mr. J. Gill" of Middlesex, England, was headed for Singh Autosport, a company in Fremont, Calif., that does not exist, according to state business records there.

Also, although the contents were marked as "Sony accoustic speakers Ebay buyer," U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and eBay investigators determined that no one had purchased the speakers through the online shopping Web site.

A man identifying himself as "Jags Gill" began calling for the package, but could not provide serial numbers for the speakers. He later provided model numbers and dimensions for the speaker.

Meanwhile, a month later in November 2006, authorities in Louisville, Ky., seized $231,891 in British pounds hidden in a table top at the UPS International Air Hub.

The money was connected to a "Jaspal Gill" in London and is the object of a separate forfeiture action.

In the Memphis case, authorities also are seeking forfeiture of the Sony speakers.

    Contact Lawrence Buser at 529-2385.

I thought he was doing something fishy. Interesting considering what he posted in that thread. Hmmmm?
