Most likely to do with the huge weight savings ie: hood trunk seat removal, light weight wheels light weight rotors, the car shed close to 300# and a good amount of rotational mass

lol, so your telling me the cf hood and evo rotors are heavier than stock? just messing with you but curious when you put them on.

my second pass ever on the setup was 10.8 weighing heavier than stock (had the s/c on the front plus the water tank and lines).

Ok, so this was a major change in the setup from the first runs to the subsequent runs?

Earl, your car is probably about 4100 pounds with you in it, mine weighed in at 4104 with driver and helmet. Which is about 200 pounds heavier than a stock BS.

I gain MPH with better 60's as well but it usually is the other way around. There really is no rule but spinning and worse 60 foots often produce higher traps namely on street tires.

A bit of a debate on the other forum. How much $$ you got into your CLK right now? Total spent.

Acoording to EVRY official drag mag, 100lbs equals .1 reduction in ET.

Guess what, they DO NOT distinguish between rotatinal mass and body mass.

There is NO such rule as a 4/1 equation as some people keep believing.

    AKA Physics work, BS doesn't

What difference would it make how much was spent or not spent? Why does it even matter?

Yes, but it doesn't even belong in this thread hence the question of relevance.

I can see many posts that don't belong. The relevance was that he happen to be active in this thread so I figured I would ask while he was here.

In my opinion that post doesn't belong in this thread but you could easily just create a different thread for it if you want. That question simply will lead to a whole different discussion inside the original topic which the other replies did not create essentially a large fork in the road. Not a big deal, just other ways to go about it.
