i have to agree with Dodger on this . i always wondered about why i hardly see him post on here ? i think i will do the same and just sit back and respond to positive situations . i appologize to Sticky for getting into a pissing match with members . i will just stay positive and do exactly what i told LZH to do . if i don't have anything nice to say , then i just won't say it Click here to enlarge

Ok, so I didn't really read much of this thread, as the ones that are 8 pages long, are usually WAY off topic from time it starts. But, I just want to say something about Dodger....

When he first came on MBWorld, I really wasn't sure what to make of him. I think it was because he posted from his cell phone a lot, which we all know is cumbersome at best. But sometimes I had a difficult time following his posts, and the ones I could follow, he seemed a bit standoff-ish. And even if you ask him, he'll tell you that he's very blunt, direct, tersely worded at times, and he doesn't filter much. So when I finally had the opportunity to meet him, and Haji for that matter, I was completely surprised by them.

These guys are now some of my favorite guys to hang with on track days. Not only do they run the snot of their cars, and educate the interested parties on how to achieve what they've been able to do, they're also honest-to-goodness great guys. Look, I've met my share of douchebags and internet MMA fighters, but Mike just isn't one of them. He's always willing to help. Always willing to stop what he's doing, pause his racing day, and lend a hand. Hell, he and I did a lunch run for everyone at the track one day, and he refused to let me even chip in. He's THAT kind of guy.

I'll give you another example. On the day that I was very close to breaking into the 10's in my car, he made me a promise. You see, I drove my car to the track and was scared to load up my converter when I launched the car, out of fear of snapping an axle or grenading the rear diff. I was leaving from idle, and all the car needed to get into the 10's was a harder launch. He told me that if I did it, and something broke, he'd either trailer my car home (Over 2 hours away) and the other one of us would follow in his C63, or I could just take his truck and trailer, and he'd just drive the C63 all they way back to NY and we'd figure out how to get it back to him some other time.

Now guys, stuff like this goes an awful long way with people like me. So, I'm sure many of you have already made up your mind about what kind of person you think Mike is. I'm here to say, that most likely, you're wrong.

And again, I have no idea what's going on in this thread, but just wanted to pop in and give my opinion on the man.

I think I was there for this one. I lose track of forum names. What is your name? Click here to enlarge

Mike and I used to argue a lot as well. While he can still be a pain in the ass at times LOL he does mean well and is very helpful at the track. Him and I drove to MIR together and we had a blast. He helped me at the track and gave me lots of pointers on the C63 as it was my first time at the track with it. I felt like it was a battle who could do more. He bought my fuel.. I bought his room.. ect ect.

All the while at MIR he did this with Andy present while helping me with my OE Tuned C63. A direct competitor with MHP. While I dont think he imagined I would beat the tune only record he was there and his help got the car there and he took a lot of $#@! from Andy for it.

Mike and I exchanged a lot of PM's and E-thug bull$#@! before all this on MBW. One day we met at captree and said "enough of the BS" and shook hands. The forums can be a really easy place to talk a boat load of crap. Every person I have met at the track who I butt heads with on the forums turned out to be nice guys. Not ONE of them talked the same crap they did when they were behind the keyboard and the same respect was paid in return.

LZH and I had our thing as well. I believe we have come to an understanding and a mutual repsect for the others opinion. We didnt even have to meet to get it done! LOL. I think the reason for this was being direct and calling a spade a spade. That is my way and I always shoot straight when it comes to having a problem with someone. I believe LZH is a lot like me in this way as well.

Everyone needs to respect others like they would if they are talking to them face to face. If they dont respect that person then they should be direct about it and have it all out and either move on or stop talking to one another.

Thats my 2 cents on the subject.

Gesture is appreciated but didn't feel you needed to apologize. Things will get heated with you guys speaking your minds, it is natural.

All good, so let's get back to cars.

Why don't you do what you said you threatened you would do in PM's to me weeks ago which was leave? This is now your third post and you are bumping an old thread. You insult everyone here while at the same time you were complaining about name calling yet you are doing it yourself.

    Get lost.
