    HMS tuning

They seem to have a supercharged C63 application. This isnt the Weistec version. They posted a rating of 670 HP. I really think this car is underrated and that it is well above 700HP. IT looks amazing too

Then I don't understand why you suggested HMS has a supercharger application?

I wasnt talking about the type of supercharger. I was talking about HMS in general and thier supercharged C63. TTR in russia also use Xtra for thier supercharged applications, check it out:

    So let me rephrase that:
HMS tuning have a Xtra supercharger application. are you happy now?Click here to enlarge

Nobody is making 700 or over 700whp on one of these without HUGE intake modifications. Possibly on an SLS with a blower because the SLS has better intake and larger MAFs from the factory, but no other 63 powered vehicle will make an honest 700 without more air/oxygen....trust me, I know first hand, hence my new hood airboxes and MAFs

Euro-based tuners typically quote crank HP, not wheel HP. Just FWIW.

I agree with you %100. I was talking about the crank number not RWHP. did you calculate how much horsepower does your BS make at the crank?

~18% drivetrain loss. 660whp would be approx 805 crank hp...Or, 300hp over stock LOL....

Jim - Do you know if the Black Series' got different internals similar to the P31 models ?

About 810 CRANK hp....This thread is pretty meaningless, 670-700 crank hp is a joke...that's so 2 years ago LOL. These things can make 650 crank hp with a good set of headers, cat delete and 100 octane tune so why's 670-700 such BREAKING NEWS?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but come on, a 670 crank HP supercharged 63 is a run of the mill average, par for the course, not major news.

thats why I'm saying its underrated. Even weistec are reporting 670 HP at the crank, and we well know that isnt the case. your CLK is well above 670bHP.

Yep, and they rarely provide dyno's to support their crank figures. European tuners kind of piss me off.

Agreed... the '08 CLK63BS M156, from everything I've read, is just a "run-of-the-mill" M156 like an '07 E63 or myriad other examples. No fancier internals. Externally, they do have the additional coolers... but that's about it AFAIK.
