    Wow,in +2000DA no less
Picking up 30mph+ on the back half is excellent, congrats!
This is definitely a LOW 10 sec car in negative DA...Im guestimating 10.15-10.35@ 139-141mph
Jim was this on pump gas? And do you have a race gas tune for MS 109 or another oxygenated fuel that you can also use??

Wow so you should've trapped 140+. Click here to enlarge

Always a headwind. 1/8th doesn't quite look to be at 107 like you claimed. Back to 103 like you said the week prior. However now with new tune, and lighter wheels.

    Hmmmm.

60' is legit, car is hooking.

only made 5 passes and not very consistant, first time out on new wheels and tires playing with pressures. Ran a 10.85 a 10.72 a 10.63 in that order and a couple bad ones a 11.27 lit the tires up pretty bad and a complete shut down 15 something due to more wheelspin.

actually the new tune didn't work out so well, passes were made on old tune. Rev limiter issues with new tune.

...the real funny part is that if you're not Andy how do you know about the new tune??? I mentioned new tune to Andy and nobody else that I am aware of.

Instead of being a prick and doubting the wind speed why don't you check the weather for Byron a about 1:15 pm today winds were 20-22 SSE and then do some research into what direction byron runs directly SSE, I also have video and you can see the flags on the tower blowing like mad the opposite direction the cars are running.

    Now $#@! Off Andy!!!

As posted: I talk to Andy (especially now Click here to enlarge), Jerry, Wayne, Bischoff, Justin, Dustin, John, etc. I speak regularly to people that wouldn't answer your call no matter how much you attempted to pay them.

Ok so now you're claiming same tune, but still new lighter wheels yet you're down 4 mph in the 1/8th vs last week (which at least is the right direction for a 22mph head wind but you'd be down 5mph+ in reality with that much wind speed) but up 3mph in the 1/4??????

How do you lose 1/8th trap but gain 1/4 trap with a 22mph+ headwind?

    Explain.

    ROFL. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

    ecampbell,

I'm not claiming to have run anything or posted a certain dyno number, this isn't a mine vs his pissing contest. This is about JimRich's words and postings, not mine. Please don't cause a thread digression, let's remain focused on the topic at hand.

Someone please explain to me how someone loses 4mph in the 1/8th mile due to a headwind but gains 3mph in the 1/4 overall?

Minus 3mph at the 1/8th makes sense, gaining 7mph back at the big end doesn't. At all.

douchebag, at least spell it right. Back to name calling. Check the other thread for more on this.

    Your better 60'? You've posted 1.5X 60's when you trapped 130-131?

Since you're trying to mislead again I'll help you out. When running slicks with a dedicated drag suspension, drag wheels and tires etc the harder you come out the lower your 60, the lower your 1/8th ET the higher the trap, the lower the 1/4 mile ET, the higher the 1/4 trap.

    Another explanation please.

idiot, I didn't gain 7 on the backend vs my last time out, I was trapping at 136+ my last time out but only running 10.8s which I attributed to poor 1.7 60s, my 60s went doen this time and so did my trap speed...that's pretty normal prick

I called Steve today if he can get the new goodies installed on my car I intend on shipping it out for the event. Plan now is for car to arrive at Weistec on Monday the 17th and then head out to Vegas with the car on Wed night. The new hood will be on the car by then too.

Still with the name calling LOL. Such a man.

Trapping 136+ in the 1/4? Since when? Last update from you was 10.8@131. Post the slip like you just did:

    http://www.benzboost.com/showthread....aceway-8l26l11

136+ would be a new 63 record, Post!!!!
