    I met Ronnie Coleman today

Today my while at the gym Ronnie Coleman came in to workout. This guy is HUGE. I think he said he is ~320lbs right now, crazy. He's was pretty nice guy, and very down to Earth.

For anybody who doesn't now who he is, he is a Professional Bodybuilder. He's won the Mr. Olympia contest many times, and holds the record for most consecutive wins (8).

Eat a lot of good food, get lots of rest, and get on a training program. A lot of what to do is learned through experience.

And having realistic expectations. Nothing annoyed me more when I was a trainer than people complaining after 2 weeks they hadn't transformed, or lost 30lbs yet. You get what you put into it, and it takes a lot of time and effort.

Not really. My diet is pretty southern, lots of grease lol. I never bothered to follow a diet, but I could probably make better progress if I did. For now, though I'll just enjoy being young and having good enough genetics I don't need to worry about it.

Keep in mind that your routine may differ from mine as we may have different goals. My goal is only strength gain. So for me keep volume down has worked better.

Here's a run through of last monday:

*sets and formatted like so: Sets x Reps. i.e. 3x8= 3 sets of 8 reps*

    Warm up:

-5 minutes elliptical set to highest incline.
    -push ups 3x10
-Big arm circle with 10lbs kettel bells in hand (3x10; each set consists of 5 forward circles followed by 5 reverse circles)
    -Full body stretch

    Workout:

    -Bench Press: 45lbs 2x15, 95lbs 1x10, 135lbs 1x10, 185lbs 1x10, 225lbs 1x8, 275lbs 3x3
    -Incline dumbbell press: 60's 1x10, 70's 1x5, 80's 1x5, 90's 1x5
    -Various abdominal exercises

And that's pretty much it. It doesn't sound like much, but I leave the gym dead after every workout, and my weights have been steadily increasing.
