Las Vegas 1/4 mile results with Weistec Stage 2+ supercharged CLK63's

Driving 250 miles from OC to Vegas....$75 in fuel
Changing tyres at the track... 30 minutes
Going 10.8 with stock suspension and at full weight... priceless

Weistec, thanks so much for this. To see our cars running in the 10's on a track with no water box or VHC at 5,000 DA with temps of 95 degrees is a true indication of how strong your product is (and or course how good our driving is).

More to come on this but I see Earl could not hold it in any longer and rightfully so.

I have pictures, vids, slips, etc.

Thank you to Earl for the generous invite and Jim as well.

Oh, and just to add, Earl's driving actually was impressive. I do not mean that in a negative way simply that I did not expect him to do so well.

How did jrcart's car do? 10.8 out of ecampbell's car is indeed impressive! Thumbs-up.

That is super impressive, especially considering the DA.

This was not Jim's best run. You can hear the "hiccup" in his car about a 3rd of the way down.

Do mean the video? Couldn't even read the blurry, out-of-focus numbers in the vid anyway. I think it might've said 10.99 for jrcart, and no idea about the trap speed.

So, what was jrcart's best time?

Jim will tell you his time but I can tell you he schooled me in how to do a burnout.
Regarding the RT's, Jim was making sure I was ok as this was my first time with the car which is why I left first. On a normal day I am sure his RT will be faster.

    On my fastest run:
    The DA was approx 5,125
    ET 10.866
    Mph 130.99

I will let those who care figure out what the corrected time would be and remember, this was an unprepped track with no VHT and no waterbox...

They both ran 10's. Cars performed virtually identical.

People need to understand this point emphatically and also understand this was your first time at the strip with this car. To clarify, is that with this car period or just with this setup?

I do not know what you drag racing experience is but I would have to believe there is a bit there. Not exactly beginners luck.

102* at 8PM! HOLY $#@!. Looks pretty dark for 8PM, in that video too.

Cars sound great, and run like stink!

^ I shot the video just after midnight and it was the last run for the night at the track. Temps was around 90-91 F.
