Got 3.5Million for a powerboat submarine?
Marion Hyper-Submersible Powerboat Nearing Production
Friday, April 23, 2010
Next up in the world of James Bond-worthy submersibles: the Hyper-Sub from US-based Marion HSPD (Hyper-Submersible Powerboat Design), which is finally gearing up for production after years of development. As the name implies, itís a powerboat-submarine hybrid that aims to be the best of both worlds. In a nutshell, itís the first small craft built with the horsepower, sea-keeping, and range to allow operation on the high seas, which also functions as a self-charging, autonomous, one-atmosphere submarine. On the powerboat end, itís basically a heavy-duty, 31-ft. surface-cruiser with a closed cabin. Powered by twin 440 hp inboard diesels for a total output of 880 hp, the Hyper-Sub has a maximum surface speed of 40 knots and a maximum surface range of 500 miles.
In dive mode the Hyper-Sub can plunge up to 250 feet using a self-charging electric over hydraulic system, and offers umbilical SCUBA support. With seating for up to four passengers plus a pilot, the craftís 180-degree acrylic canopy provides panoramic undersea views. With an elegant woodgrain interior, leather seating, onboard GPS, radar, auto-pilot, high-gain VHF radio and a satellite phone, itís also pretty plush inside. Available in three configurations for sport, rugged or deep diving, each model is completely customizable and both surface and submerged performance can easily be significantly enhanced. Price-wise you can expect to pay in the neighborhood of Ä2.5 million. No word on an exact delivery date yet, but weíll keep you posted.

Guys, if I ever get enough money, I'm buying this thing, picking you all up, and the partying will be epic.
Is there an option for torpedoes? If I can't say "fire torpedoes" it just isn't as fun to have one.
