Thumbs up What people 100 years ago though year 2000 would look like?

Cool to see how some of ideas presented became real.

    Yep thats about right...
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

Well, many of those depictions are somewhat true today. I mean, levitating trains in tokyo/china...holographic projections, let alone face-time via phones. Ok, not the books...not the rocket powered skates, but the other things would have been made if it were not for restrictions.

Flying cars = feasible, practical? not much so. I don't idiot drivers who forget to fill up gas falling out of the sky.

    Sorena, great thread!

This is just crazy, I love it.

Why don't we use blimps for transportation?

Also, that image of the students sitting there at their desks "plugged in; that's so fitting for today's youth.

Seriously, in those days people were using their brains much more than nowadays people. for example Big engineers like Da Vinci had much more knowledge than these days' engineers. it was the lack of technology that tied their hands, if they had today's technology they would bring the sun to earth.

Atleast they would have harnessed the sun's energy somehow =( I keep wanting to line my roof with huge ass solar panels and filling my attic with batteries.
