    Mechatronik w111

One day all of a sudden you woke up and asked yourself " Why I love w111 Coupe so much? ", well don't worry because everyone does.
So you went to buy a w111 coupe, but there were some let downs there.

-first like all the other guys here you like speed and even the rare top model, 280 SE 3.5, can't satisfy you.

-second the equipment in the top models is disappointing, so probably the kid in Hyundai Accent will make laugh at you.

-third most parts of the car is rusty, it won't be nice if the chassis breaks in half in middle of highway while you are cruising with your sweethearts.

Just because of these reasons you are sitting on your bed, and had some pills to kill yourself. But wait.... look you have an extra $250K, so you can call Mechatronic to get this.

It's restored by Mechatronic and all the parts are TUV registered, so the 3rd reason mentioned above goes away.

it has a M113 with 306HP and 460 N.M which is mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission, in other words the 1st reason can die.

    and the equipment:
Sunroof, Mechatronik comfort windows, ABS, ASR, electric antenna, catalyst, air conditioning, door and rear speakers, navigation system, leather interior, electric sunroof, power steering, heated seats, sport exhaust, sport suspension, central locking, amplifier, soundsystem.
the radio is Mexico Becker which is really hard to find these days.

so 2nd reason is vanished, but also you could have break that kid's neck in order to shut him up gently IMO.

    enjoy the pics

BTW Joseph i thought this is the right place since we don't have w111 option in S-class section, move it if isn't in the right place.

I see, should this be in S-class technically?

So this is a W111 with an M113 swap? But for $250k? Looks awesome but the price is insane.

Yes, they didn't carry S-Class name but they are the predecessor models of S-Class.

Yes. Mostly W112 is considered as a S-Class, but the W111 was basically a W112 with less equipment.
The W111, was initially attributed only to six-cylinder cars with 2.2-litre engines. The luxury version with big-block 3-litre engines were given the chassis code W112. The entry-level vehicles with four-cylinder engines were called W110.

Well I mean we can add a prefix for it. I doubt we are going to have a lot if any W111 or W112 activity.
