    C63 and Nitrous

Im thinking about fitting a nitrous kit to my c63. What type of kit do you recommend i use and set up? I dont know much about Nitrous so any help would be great. Some questions i have:
Should i go a Wet/Dry/ Fogger set up (I assume those are the different types of Nitrous systems available)?
    Single jet or 2 jets?

Also, Andy i think you would be the best to answer here but would i need to re-send my ecu back? Im not after world records, just more power. I was thinking a 75hp or 100hp set up. Nothing to extreme.

To help with the Nitrous activating and deactivating while changing gears, do i need to buy something for this aswell?

Im new to Nitrous so any feed back is welcome.

When it comes to nitrous with these motors I'd speak to MHP. They should be able to advise you which way to go.

I would assume you would want a wet setup.

My bad, anything more than 75 shots needs a tune, under 75 you don't need, ecu can adjust for it.
75 is pretty good i believe unless you want to race some serious fast cars.

Ask PEI330CI, when it comes to nitrous he can blow your mind with his information.

saying your car makes 350whp (?), my hint is with 75 shot you will be around 420.

    Harun,

We have kits with custom lines ready to bolt-in, can also tell you how to wire (finding the first tps lead was fun) etc. Shoot me an email and I'll cover the spread as far as what we offer. You've seen Keith's kit I believe:

He's since painted the bottles and fuel cell but I don't have those pics at hand. Although his kit is setup so that it can be removed without any trace of it being there you can run the wiring in a different manner if you choose.

You can run a 75 shot on 98 RON with your present calibration. 100 shot on race gas and up to a 125 shot on the right race gas. We have colder plugs for larger shots as well.

One additional point to interject, Keith did the math after he pulled the pills out of his car the night he went [email]10.39@135 at Bradenton. He had the wrong fuel jets in, A/Fs were very likely in the high 9s. Having the right fuel pills in will definitely help this fall.

Sounds like speculation? Keith will hit 9s when Keith hits 9s..

I never said anything about a 9 second ET, just that his A/Fs were in the high 9s after doing the math on jets and fuel pressure. Click here to enlarge

MHP. You guys still have kits? How big a shot will the stock fuel system handle?

MHP? Heh, wow, can't believe people still type those letters.

The nitrous days of the M156 are the past. Big boost rules the platform these days.

So you are saying that a $5000 supercharger that costs $16000 that is very difficult to remove for warranty work, is the only option for big horsepower?

I'm saying this thread is from 2011 and if you want nitrous it isn't rocket science.

Would you rather fill a bottle to have a few seconds of joy or power and torque everywhere all the time?

I've built with my own two hands numerous drag and show cars, some with well over 1000hp some supercharged, turbocharged, nitrous, some had nitrous and wind on them.

I realize a nitrous kit us kit isn't rocket science. I'm trying to see if anyone had a dedicated C63 setup ready to go, capable of a 75-100 shot without using a fuel cell.

Things like, nozzle placement, TPS, fuel pressure and source requirements. Those are what I didn't want to have to start from scratch figuring out of someone already had.

so what if the thread is from 2011? If I had made a new thread, someone would have said "use the search". Good ol car forums. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
