^maintenance is the issue from what friends have told me...

I had fish when I was a child...they died shortly after. I had a parrot, it unlocked its cage and ran away. I had two baby chicks, they suffocated themselves by trapping their heads between the cage. I no longer keep any pets.

its not that hard. water change and filter once a month and if you have any serious problems you just change your water. also you have to add chemicals(vitamins) if you want to add certain corals and $#@!

How hard would something like this be to maintain and how much would it cost?

I'm not good with pets either but I think I could manage fish. Just not salt water fish.

Also saltwater fish are pretty aggressive, my cousin almost lost one finger when he was feeding them.

Not a bad idea, then the fish can sleep with you in the same bed.

OP, what fish do you not know the names of?
All I see in the video are the 2 chromes, 2 clownsfish and your orange starfish...
