I think a Centri is much more efficient than rear mounted setup.

HUH ?? No thanks...it's still a supercharger and how it is more efficient than a turbo setup in the rear ? Where the turbos go don't really matter as long as the plumbing is done properly and turbos are always better in racing conditions.

Turbo likely is better regarding heat management on the road course vs. a positive displacement but rear mounts just usually are seen as the "cheap way" out.

Not to say that they don't work, they do.

It's a quite efficient supercharger. rear mounted is just a waste of energy in a front-engined car due the long piping.

+1 I would take rear mounted turbo's over a SC anyday.

Edit: I should finish up that thought.. In the C63 I would have prefered the rear mounted turbo setup over the SC. Click here to enlarge
