That GT-R is around 700whp. The 800-1000whp GT-R's haven't competed yet.
Regardless, the Porsche was quicker and faster. GT-R even ran wingless! No excuses.his: _______________ hers: Mitsubishi Evolution X

Battle of two Switzer modified cars - Switzer R800 Porsche 997.1 Turbo vs. Switzer R850 Nissan GT-R
Yet another great mile drag race video from the Russians over at dragtimes.info. This time two Switzer cars square off, a 997.1 Turbo with the R800 package and a Nissan GT-R with the R850 package. The Switzer R850 GTR package is $35990 and good for 191 in the mile according to Switzer. The R800 997.1 turbo package is said to be good for 700 whp and it retails for $26990. Surprising to see the Porsche take it although it is lighter. If it was a PDK Turbo, would have been a larger gap.
