Yes, but in the USA a more reasonable match would be The C63 black vs GT3 non RS ( both available in the US)

Again, there is no M3 GTS in USA.

Ok, but the best matchup is the M3 GTS vs. the C63 Black Series which will obviously happen and have to happen in Europe. I want to see that head to head more than anything else.

I wan to see them all, including the GT3.

We know the M3 GTS is going to lose between the 3. Thats why to me it boils down to GT3 vs C63 Black.

US wont even see those lightweight seats because of airbag rules.

I think the M3 will lose a swell, but the most logical comparison is as stated. It will have to be a GT3 by default in the USA.

Rumors are 44 pounds, likely due to those seats.

so the US spec will not be much lighter?
I wish we got the good seats here, just like the CLK BS in Europe, these puppies won't make it here either.

Either way, that car looks killer--I wonder what kind of meat is on those rears?
By the looks of the "conservative" fender flares, I'm guessing 285ish.

I sure it comes in much lighter than the regular C63 coupe--I guess we'll see, either way it looks evil!Click here to enlarge

Looks great but the regular C63 should have looked like this to begin with. The fender flares on the C63 are virtually non existent and these seem small for a black series. JMO

Damn...Car looks great. Although it looks very similar to the CLK BS...The Euro version of course has all the nice lightweight parts....and I like the rear air inlets and extractors. Wonder if it has the rear dif cooler like the CLK...I'd assume it does. I really wanna see what the actual weight is. That'll be a good indicator of what kind of numbers itll put down on the track. That MCT gearbox is great though....it's the one thing I wish my Black Series had cause that would make the car near perfect. Can't wait to drive one and see if it's worth a trade and do a European delivery Click here to enlarge

It's too early to say what the weight will but those seats will save you a bunch of weight...

This I do not understand either, what are you really getting here? Rear seat delete, wider body work?

I agree, $100+ is too much. Is it really worth $40k more than the C63? I dont think so but others might. GT3 for me any day.

I don't get it. car makers strip their cars and ask more money for it? WTF?

Sick car, hate to say but GTS is no match for it, unless you take them to circuit.

People said the M3 was no match for the C63 yet it is the faster and better handling of the two around a road course.

I love the hood. And I like the coupe when it's the Black Series. Regular coupe isn't attractive to me. But, lower it, widen rear fenders, add the awesome new hood, and install sick front, lightweight seats, and it's game over for me.

does it have forged internals? And 44lbs less would probably be from the rear seat delete. I mean Im willing to bet the rear seats are 44lbs

Power is really a function of a different tune. I hope this has the P31 standard and tweaked.

Suspension, ok. Better LSD? It will have an LSD which is already optional, may be the same unit. Better cooling? Ok.

Those few things are worth $40k+?
