Interesting, wonder how much each controller will cost.

This will definitely help with things like choosing plays in sports games, each person has their own screen.

Just wonder if it will be powerful? The Wii is weak hardware wise.

I do not think it is a complete device. They say it is a new controller, so probably connected to the Wii by wireless connection. It will draw all it's capabilities for calculating power from the Wii, hosting only the added functionality of the controller. Graphics will probably be streamed as well...

I cant wait till this is released actually, I think it's going to be amazing. I also am wondering how much the "controllers" will be. Hope its not too much.

Nintendo does not care much about how powerful their consoles are. They care more about innovation and making sure their games are fun. Just look at Sony and M$ copying the motion $#@! from Nintendo.

I want horsepower. If this is a brand new console and still behind the 360 and PS3 (which are already pretty dated graphically) then it sucks for hardcore gamers and will cater to kids.

This is cool and all, but it really needs to be better than current gen consoles, in terms of graphical power because the current wii has graphics comparable to the Dreamcast...and that $#@! is ancient!

I agree with you. The Wii is seriously underpowered compared to the 360 and ps3. I'm not sure why Nintendo would make it this way.

Nintendo didn't have the money to invest. They gambled and it paid off as they simply gave the gamecube steroids and came up with the Wii.

I bought one, but can't remember the last time I touched it. Was a fun bowling simulator...

Yeah, Wii games lack depth (Not to mention processing power). Oh look, I can swing a controller around, cool......

They completely butchered Far Cry. After that I gave up hope.

Gotta admit wii opened up a revolution with motion sensing.

But this new wii is $#@!ing stupid, look at the controller. Its a screen in your hands, playing that zelda game means you need to look down into your inventory bag to pick items. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Take your eyes off the main screen for one second to look down can cost you the game. Most inventory selections are in screen picture in picture so you dont loose control of your character.

    This thing is stupid IMO.

Everyone forgets Sega tried a screen in your hand and it didn't work. Although that screen was junk compared to this...
