Can I lower the boost on my Mercedes for better mileage?

Ran across this on some random website, thought it was hilarious considering everyone here increase their boost: http://www.mercedesbenzcarblog.com/2...omment-page-1/

Query by Hai L: Can I reduce the boost on a stock Mercedez Benz pressured induction engine?

I am pondering to get a used S55AMG or S600. They equally are gasoline guzzlers that provide almost 500HP. I really like the power but would like to have an on off change to the increase. I know there are increase controller kits but not too certain if they lower significantly less than stock enhance. I never mind acquiring no enhance at times with above 300HP.
Ever heard of the S500? If you are worried about the mileage, they aren't for you.
